Pickit M2 is a portable photo printer
Pickit allows you to turn digital pictures to photos It has build in Wi-Fi and NFC (Near Field Communication) Compatible with most of Android Devices. All you have to do is to put your device on Pickit and it will download appication for easy use of the printer. The app is not only for printing, but you can also edit and correct pictures adding filters, stickers, frames and other before sending them to printer.
The beauty of this device is its simplicity and practicality. Printing takes just seconds. You can have high quality photos which you can put in your album or frame it and put where you want. Pickit is portable and looks very similar to power bank. It weights 248g with loaded cartridge and could easily fit in your bag.
Photos printed by Pickit are 2.1 by 3.4 inches, of high quality and laminated making them resistant to water. The downside is that you have to buy the whole cartrige all the time, there is no way to refill or restock printer with photopaper or dye. That means you have to throw old one away and buy new one all the time.
The device itelf on Amazon is listed for $90. Additional costs are photo cartridge which lists for around $13 and can last for 10 pictures. So the price comes to about $1.30 per photo. This could seem more expensive for such a small photo compared to traditional way. The cost for cartridge can become an gap for competitor companies to fill in and make a product which can be more cost effective per photo.
The device does what it is supposed to and does it in quality therefore Simpleask approves this gadget. One of the best things about this device that I found useful is that you can print photo for your drivers license yourself.
